270-324mfd 165vac capacitor

hi, i'm replacing a capacitor on my Manitowoc ice maker. the old measures 1 3/4" in diameter but measures 4 1/4" in length, the numbers match 270-324mfd 165vac 50-60 hz. made in mexico. will this one fit the same as its about an inch shorter? please let me know if you have any info for me before I purchase. many thanks for your help

Hello, as long as the ratings on the capacitor match, this will be compatible. The capacitor sizes are being made more universal and no longer the same size as the original. You may just have to use plumbers roll or electrical tape to secure the capacitor into place. Please let us know if you have any other questions! Thank you!
